The movie is about a drama with fairy tale elements, where an orphaned musical prodigy uses his gift as a clue to finding his birth parents. It was released in the year 2007.

What is most frustrating is that there are occasional moments of … well, I wouldn't say brilliance, but definitely good writing. But it gets stomped out of existence by the next hackneyed moment or drowned in the films manipulative attempts to shove it's message down our collective throats.

I find that specific shots of their faces still glow in mind like pieces of a mosaic. This gem of a movie takes us on a journey. thanks a lot to posting it.
