Resolving the Nepal Olympic Committee

National Sports Council Member Secretary Yubaraj Lama urged sports associations to resolve the Nepal Olympic Committee row by themselves.“This is not just the NSC problem,” said Lama at a Workshop on Good Governance in Sports in Dhulikhel.“Actually this is the problem of sports associations who elect the NOC,” he said. At present, two parallel NOCs are in existence and Lama said fresh mandate was the only way out to resolve the crisis.“It is you (associations) who can easily settle the issue. Bring both the parties together and go for fresh elections,” urged Lama. “If you do this, the NOC problem will be resolved permanently.”
