At least 30 persons have been killed and 11 others injured when a bus swerved off the road and plunged some 500 meters into Tila River at Pakhagaun VDC-1, Birtamod section of the Karnali Highway in Kalikot on Monday night, informed District Administration Office, Kalikot.

Identities of the deceased and injured are yet to be ascertained. “No identity of the victims are ascertained as we were busy for the treatment of the victims,” said Jagat Basnet, Chief District Officer (CDO), Kalikot
