AC Milan have suffered a blow with the news that forward Alexandre Pato has sustained a thigh injury in training today. "In the next few days he will undergo further tests to determine the extent of his injury", read a club statement. A long series of muscular problems limited the 22-year-old to just eleven appearances in Serie A last term. The Brazilian international now faces a race against time to be fit for Milan's season opener against UC Sampdoria on Sunday.
