Roma have announced the signing of Brazilian defender Marquinhos on a season-long loan from SC Corinthians Paulista for a fee of around €1.5m. The 18-year-old player, capped 15 times at Under-17 level, will make his transfer permanent by playing at least 45 minutes of eight competitive games. The capital club will then be obliged to pay a further €3m to complete the deal.
