first Novice Cup Nationwide Open Men’s Boxing Tournament

Aman Tamang, Sanju Pun, Santosh Rajbahak, Som Lama, Chiranjivi Rana and Anup Maharjan won their respective 42-44kg first round matches of the first Novice Cup Nationwide Open Men’s Boxing Tournament on Wednesday. Amar Thapa, Sandip Tamang, Rajesh Hemran, Akhil Rana Magar, Kiran BK, Manoj Gautam, Bikash Rai and Suman Bati also won in the 44-46kg category. Wilson Maharjan, Umesh Chaudhary, Santosh Rai, Amar Budha Magar, Amrit BK, Amit Kuikel and Hem Kumar Rai advanced to the second round of the 46-48kg division.Suman Tudu, Sanjay Bhujel, Bishal Karki, Sushan Manandhar, Rajan Maharjan and Narayan Bhujel advanced to the 48-50kg second round.
