South Africa sealed a 51-run victory in the final Test to win the series 2-0, but England did not surrender their place at the top of the rankings without an exhilarating fight. On a gripping fifth day at Lord's, the home side attacked throughout to keep a seemingly hopeless cause alive deep into the final session.
