World number three Rafael Nadal has pulled out of the US Open after failing to recover from a knee injury. The 26-year-old's last action was at Wimbledon, in June, when he was beaten in the second round by Lukas Rosol, ranked 100 in the world. He was then forced to pull out of the London 2012 Olympics with the injury, which has since failed to clear up.

it is so sad for the of of the Rafael Nadal.but it may to chance to win to the roger federer.anyway it does not matter.players are always players even after they died.
