Einstein failed in mathematics. Albert Einstein, a great mathematician and author of the theory of relativity failed in mathematics in the entrance examination of the Federal Polytechnic college of Zurich, Switzerland. He was then a 16-year old youth Later he did plenty of cramming and submitted to another examination before he was admitted to the college.
