Northants hold a 212-run lead over Leicestershire after two days of the Division Two encounter. Overnight centurion Simon Peters (148) could only add 11 as Northants, who began on 300-5, were dismissed for 399. Wayne White (4-94) was the pick of the bowlers for the visitors. Leicestershire opener Will Jones, playing in only his fifth first-class match, made 37 while Ramnaresh Sarwan was run out for 59 as the visitors closed on 187-6.
