The birthday of Lord Krishna is clebrated in all parts of India with great fervor and devotion on the eighth day after the full moon in the shraavana month of the Hindu Calendar. Lord Krishna is considered the ninth eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. The significance of being a complete avatar is that all the qualities and powers of Lord Vishnu were integrated into Lord Krishna.
