Bara recipe and ingredients
"Bara" is one of the most popular Newari food present in all types of occasions. It tastes really good. There are many types of bara from plain to egg to mix. The ingredients and may to make are:
Ingredients:
Mas ko Dal/kalo dal (Black Pulse)
Ginger Garlic paste
Salt
It is really simple to make. Take some mas ko dal soak it in water for some time. After some time it's cover comes off and you can rub the rest with your hands and clean them. After that grind it to a thick paste without adding water. Take out the paste and add ginger garlic paste and salt according to your taste and mix well. Heat a flat pan put some oil(any) then put the mixed paste in pan slowly shape the size with your hands(wet your hands with water just soak don't put water) flip it until cooked your plain Bara is ready to be served. For egg same process but while giving it shape make a space in middle crack the egg and put in the middle. Flip it and cook till ready to it. Same goes for mix bara it's will be a little difficult foe a beginner but after making two or three you will learn very well.
