Snow (2010)

"Snow" is a romantic movie which follows Parvati as she begins a new life in Canada after her family is swept away in the Asian tsunami. The film beautifully captures the sense of dislocation and melancholy that follows tragedy and hints at the rebirth and renewal that can grow out of it. The movie was released in the year 2010.

At the surface this seems like a very simple film. However, don't let it's simplicity fool you. After seeing this a second time, there are many different messages that Rohan, the director skillfully planned throughout this movie. This one is a Beautiful Story about Grief and the Aftermath of a Tsunami Survivor.

I have heard of this film before but haven't watched it. It sounds good though.. Well thank you so much for sharing that thread with us in this forum.
