Great Britain claimed an 11th gold at the 2012 Olympics with another record-breaking win in the London Velodrome. The team pursuit trio of Laura Trott, Dani King and Jo Rowsell crushed the United States in the final, clocking a world record time of 3:14.051. The host nation could claim further golds later, when Jessica Ennis rounds off her heptahlon campaign and Mo Farah goes in the final on the men's 10,000m. GB now lie third in the medals table, behind the United States and China.
