H-eight (film)

H-8 is a 1958 Yugoslavian film by Croatian director Nikola Tanhofer. The movie is based on a true story, in which the driver that caused a fatal 1957 bus-truck collision was never identified. "H-8" is the beginning of that driver's license plate, the only available information on the culprit's vehicle.
H-8 won the Big Golden Arena for Best Film at the 1958 Pula Film Festival.

This is the best film ever made in Croatia. Every single point, from the scenario, costumes, music, camera, editing and lights to the astonishing performances of the actors, is fantastic. I am sorry that all available tracks are in such poor condition and that it makes it hard to show the film to the audience outside Croatia.

I have heard of this film before but haven't watched it. It sounds good though.. Well thank you so much for sharing that thread with us in this forum.
