Mars is the fourth planet from the sun. It is about half of earth's size in diameter. It is called red planet because of it's reddish orange appearance in the sky.

mars is the planet that lies after planet earth...it is also known as red planet...thanks for sharing the information about mars mate..its really knowledgeable
