the original title of Shaolin is Xin shao lin si. the movie directed by Benny Chan and writen by Alan Yuen.China is plunged into strife as feuding warlords try to expand their power by warring over neighboring lands. fuelled by his success on the battlefield, young and arrogant Hao Jie sneers at Shaolin's masters after killing a rival warlord on their temple grounds. but the glory comes before a fall.his own family is wiped out in an unexpected turn of events and Hao is forced to take refuge with the monks. as the civil unrest spreads and the people suffer, Hao and the Shaolin masters are forced to take a fiery stand against the evil warlords. they launch a daring plan of rescue and escape.the movie stars with Andy Lau, Nicholas Tse and Bingbing Fan

In this story Hou Chieh commands a massive army that wages war to take control of the city Tengfeng,Henan, China. This ruthless, dispassionate tyrant is portrayed very convincingly by Andy Lau, who has quite an impressive film career, I recall him from House of Flying Daggers. Second in command to General Hou is Cao Man (Nicholas Tse) who is very astute in taking in all the Tyranny 101 lessons.

this film centers itself squarely on the central character of the ruthless and cunning warlord Hao Jie, who has no qualms in constantly gaining upper hands amongst enemies and allies even.

wow i love kung fu movie very much and these movie Shaolin is one of my best action movie.I watch these movie when i was small and i really love these movie.

I have heard of this film before but haven't watched it. It sounds good though.. Well thank you so much for sharing that thread with us in this forum.
