There is Manuel played by Andrew Sachs, the lovable gormless Spanish waiter who Basil bullies and tries to kill in nearly every episode. Other additional characters are the batty Major Gowen played by Ballard Berkeley.

This series has remained one of my longtime favorites, mainly due to John Cleese and his brilliant plots, and the perfectly realized, superb characterizations of Basil, Sybil, Manuel, Polly and various friends, staff, colleagues, and those hapless guests who enter through the massive front doors. The acting is wonderfully sharp over the entire series.

Well I haven't heard this film neither I have watched it yet . . Its kind of a new film to me. So thank you so much for sharing that thread with us in this forum.
