Through the Sugauli treaty in 1815,Nepal lost four district Banke,Bardiya,kailali and kanchanpur to the East India Company.British India was captured it for 45 years.Again the British India Company returned to Nepal these district in 1860.Today this annexed area is called Naya Muluk (New Country).
