various laws of nature are explained by theories put forth from time to time by scientists. such theories are based on observed facts and are able to explain most of the observations. each theory is notjing but a conceptual scheme. any conceptual scheme which is in the position to explain each of the existing phenomenon or observations is considered to be true until superceded by a more powerful conceptual scheme.
