Gloucestershire v Leicestershire: Hosts fall short at Cheltenham

Gloucestershire were forced to settle for a draw against Leicestershire as they fell 13 runs short of victory. Needing 222 for their third win of the season they were in control on 176-3, Dan Housego made 50 and Alex Gidman 62 before a collapse to 199-8. Claude Henderson (4-80) and Robbie Joseph (3-36) took five wickets between them in 43 balls, but James Fuller (18 not out) steered the hosts to 209-8. Earlier, Ramnaresh Sarwan's 93 helped Leicestershire to 288 all out. Needing 222 to win in a minimum of 53 overs, Gloucesteshire looked well set to push themselves into the Division Two promotion race when they were left with 47 off the final 10 overs.
