Andre Adams became the first bowler to reach 50 Championshp wickets this season as Nottinghamshire and Surrey settled on a draw. Notts resumed on their day one score of 178-5 and Chris Read (98), Adam Voges (59) and Ben Phillips (47) took them to 328 all out, Stuart Meaker took 5-78. Jason Roy (83) and Rory Burns (79) led the way in Surrey reaching 252-6, while Adams took 4-51 to reach the milestone. Notts are now a point behind Warwickshire, who lost to Somerset. But the West Midlands side still have a game in hand, and the two sides meet each other twice in the last three games of the season.
