Present situation of women in Nepal

The social status of the women in Nepal is not satisfactory. There is discrimination between male an female. Sons are given more priority than daughter. The women who occupy over 50% of the population has not much access the high level posts.

The women have to be involved satisfactorily in the work of infrastructures of development. they should be given sufficient opportunities to improve themselves. The condition of the women in the cities and town are bit better than the urban areas.

Nowadays most of the women are intelligent and they know how to grab their rights. Most of the girls are getting education. All we need nowadays is change in our mentality that women are weaker. Male dominant society should be changed. If we could do these things women and men will surely be equal.
