In this example, two event procedures that contain a total of six lines of code are all that are needed to develop the application. The event-driven nature of the application handles the logic required to direct program execution to the appropriate task in response to user actions. The programming logic required to implement the same type of application in a procedural language would be much more complicated and would involve many more lines of code.
