model dialog box Where it is opened we cannot do anything in the application until we close that window in other words, user cannot continue his work without closing the model dialog box doesn’t allow user to acess the parent window while the dialog box is open i.e. it must be deal with a close before continuing Example for model dialog box is saveDialog box A dialog box is a window that popup in response to user action to inform the user with a message e.g. if the user doesnot save the document and exists the application the window popup asking if he/she want to save the document, this window is dialog box
