Hungarian Notation Many windows programmers used a variable naming consumption known as ’Hungarian notation’. In honor of Microsoft programmer Charles Simony, very simple a variable name begins with lower case letter that denote the type of variable. For e.g. the ‘h’ prefix in hInstance and hPrevInstance for ‘Handle’ and ‘ i‘ prefix in icmdshow is stands for ‘integer’. The last two parameters to windows procedure ‘wParam’ and ‘lParam’ also used.
