Haku Kale(Shaugat Malla) doesn't want to live his life in poverty. He plans to loot a bank. According to his plan he needs four guys who are in dire need of money. Finally he finds four guys for the bank robbery plan. On the robbery day, before executing their robbery plan someone else does the robbery. All this was planned by Haku Kale. He had already five men team including himself but he uses Gofle,Nare,Khatri and Pandey so that his team can escape the robbery easily. Haku Kale executes plans 30 minutes before his own plan with Gofle,Nare,Khatri and Pandey and calls the police and escapes easily taking the money and lives happily forever.

Loot is the first film directed by Nischal Basnet which has grossed Nrs. 5.5 Crores in Nepal and Overseas within 42 days.[6] On 11th March Loot was released at Akron, Ohio at Chapel Plaza Cinema and it was also released in some other American cities.Loot is a hit among regular and new Nepalese moviegoers due to its reality based storyline, natural dialogues and stylised cinematography. It has also challenged the business of some Hollywood and Bollywood movies in Nepal, by luring in more audience.
The Himalayan Times praised the performances of actors such as Saugat Malla and Reecha Sharma but criticised the script and the director as "unable to let the characters grow properly throughout the movie"[4] and described it as "an average entertainer!". Similarly, Amendra Pokhrel from MyRepublica also praised Saugat Malla and Reecha Sharma and criticised other actors for not being "able to project the madness and bottled-up frustration of desperate youths who are willing to rob a bank".[5] He however, praised the director Nischal Basnet and overall expressed the film as "an enjoyable flick" different from other regular Nepali films.
