Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge is to undergo a fitness test to see if he can play any part in Team GB's bid for Olympic Gold at the London 2012 games.

Sturridge contracted viral meningitis last week, and although less serious than some other forms of the disease, it remains to be seen whether the 22-year-old will be able to regain full fitness in time for the games.
