Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo has insisted that 33-year-old midfielder Frank Lampard can still play an important role at the club next season.Lampard regularly failed to secure a first-team berth last term under Andre Villas-Boas but returned to the fray after the Portuguese coach was dismissed, helping his side to an FA Cup and Champions League double. And the Italian manager, who was recently appointed on a permanent basis, claims the Blues' vice-captain still has plenty of years ahead of him, should he avoid major injuries.
