This movie was directed by David Mackenzie. This about a chef and a scientist falling in love as an epidemic begins to rob people of their sensory perceptions. It released in 2011.

The narrative style and the evolving storyline makes it an enjoyable drama. It doesn't shoulder the burden of a beginning or an end, the genesis of an epidemic or an apocalyptic vision. Instead its all depicted in the background, thus making the movie enlivening.

It is easily one of the best performances of McGregor's career. its more intimate tone and approach, it is more fitting for the small screen.There is a simple but clever idea behind Perfect Sense.
