Tawera Kerr-Barlow is taking his chances this season and loving it. The 21-year-old halfback has had most of the starts for the Chiefs in the 2012 Super Rugby competition and is thriving as a result. While just as disappointed as his team-mates at Friday night's 28-21 loss to the Crusaders in Hamilton, Kerr-Barlow enjoyed every other aspect of the match and it showed. His energy on attack produced a lot of momentum and front-foot ball for the home side that they otherwise were battling to generate against a suffocating and aggressive Crusaders defence, while his defence was generally hard-working and hard-hitting yet again.
