VAT In Nepal Empty VAT In Nepal

VAT stands for value added tax. It is started from 1996 in Nepal. And First time VAT Is started from France around in 1952. It is indirect tax. It is very easy to collection revenue. Inland Revenue Department is implemented this tax by VAT Act, 2052(B.S.). Inland Revenue department is located in Lazimpat Kathmandu, near Shankar hotel.

I really wonder what is the reason for VAT. I think the vat is very much high in nepal so we are forced to pay more money for the instruments or devices exported from other countries ! Sad
